Grace Bible Institute
Grace Bible Institute began with a vision to reach rural communities with the Gospel by educating and training their local pastor and church leaders. The majority of pastors in the rural areas of Sierra Leone have little access to Biblical or pastoral training. They cannot afford to go to the various Bible training institutions in the larger cities and leave their families and churches for the 2+ years that a degree would require. They have often been unable to meet the testing requirements that the larger institutions require.
It is our prayer that as the pastors are trained, discipled and challenged, they will return to their home churches with a better understanding of how to reach their communities with the Gospel.
Grace Bible Institute has altered the model of these more traditional programs to meet the unique needs of the rural pastor. Each month, pastors and church leaders meet together for a week-long intensive module of study conducted by pastors and Christian leaders from all over the world. The modules include an assortment of topics such as the life of Christ, Bible study methods, sermon development and evangelism, to name a few.
